Dr. P. Santosh Kumar Patra

Professor and Group Director

Dr. P. Santosh Kumar Patra, Group Director of St. Martin’s Engineering College is holding B.E in Computer Science & Engineering, M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering and Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering degrees. His area of interest are Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Mining and Warehousing & Wireless Network. He has been honored with “Governor Award(Thrice), Rastriya Gaurav Award, RastriyaVikasRatan Award, Dronacharya Award”, Young leader of the year 2019 & IBAE International Award, Dubai.

He has maintained the highest amount of consultancy and industry sponsored projects in Telangana state amount of Rs.444 crores from GHMC, Hyderabad & Rs.150 crores from HMWSSB, Hyderabad, Govt., of Telangana.

He has received Rs.96 lakhs funds from DST, IIT Bombay and AICTE. He is bestowed with Rs.31 lakhs from UGC as a PARAMARSH (Advisor). He had facilitated 300 Aakash tablets from IIT, Bombay. In his crowning glory he has achievements like publishing 30 patents, 18 books and more than 88 international & national research papers, 16 magazine article & 138 newspaper coverage. He is an active member of ISTE, CSI, IAENG (Canada), MASPRS (USA), Senior Member of IACSIT (Singapore), Senior Member of CSTA (USA), SDIWC (USA), Senior Member of SCIEI (Canada), Senior Member of IEDRC (Hongkong), Member of WASET (USA) & Technical Advisor for Alaxia, Japan.

Recently he has been honored as an Advisor to NAAC, Bangaluru, UGC-Paramarsh, National Cyber Safety & Security Standards, Govt. of India. He is on the editorial board of TATA MCGRAW HILL International Publication, Charulatha Publication, Hi Tech Publication etc… and also for many journals and publications.

Dr. P. Santosh Kumar Patra established many funded Research and Development laboratories and cells and some of them are Aakash Research Lab, Mobile App Development Incubation Cell, Remote Center of IIT Bombay, Google App for Education, Academic Partner with ORACLE, Academic Partner with IBM and TCS. He played a key role for signing 88 MoUs with different Organizations. Under his leadership, college has achieved many heights like NAAC A+, UGC Autonomous, NIRF Ranking. He has received 86lakhs from DST,IIT Bombay, and from AICTE. He hasreceivedBE, M.E, from Andhra University and Ph.D from JNTUH Hyderabad in 2014. Hehas total 32 yearsofteachingand3yearsofIndustryexperience.Dr. SVS Rama KrishnamRaju isworking has a Professor in ECE Dept. & Dean of Academics inSt.Martin’sEngineering College since 2020.Hehas 2 Patents and published 06 International Journals and Conferences. Dr. SVS Rama KrishnamRaju is memberof MISTE & MIETE. He organized more than 25 Conferences, Courses, Workshops & FDP's. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Suman

Professor, Dept. of ECE and Dean R&D

 

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Suman currently working as a Professor in the Dept. of ECE and Dean R&D in St. Martin’s Engineering College. He received his PhD in Information and Communication from the Dept. of IT, Anna University, MIT Campus Chennai and M.E. from NIT Rourkela in Electronics Systems and Communication Engineering. He possesses 30 years of experiences in teaching, research and industry. Before joining St. Martin’s Engineering College, he provided his service to BIET Hyderabad as a Principal and MPES Group of Institutions, Guntur as Dean of Engineering.

His areas of specialization are Wireless Ad hoc and Sensor Networks, Cognitive Radio, Wireless Communications, Signal Processing; Machine learning application is healthcare and renewable energy. He holds a credit of 100 plus publications including Books, Patents, Journals and Conference Proceedings. To add his credit he has completed three funded projects and continuing one ongoing project. He is a part of the Reviewer Board for the many Journals like KSII-TIIS, IEEE Access, IET, IETE and Wireless Network.

 

 

 

 

Dr.D.V. Sreekanth

Professor and Head, Dept. of ME & Dean Admin

Dr.D.V. Sreekanth is currently working in St. Martin’s Engineering College as a Professor and Head, department of Mechanical Engineering. He has received his B.E (Mechanical Engineering) from Karnataka University,Dharwad and M.Tech, Ph.D from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University,Hyderabad,Telangana,India. Currently, he is a Professor and Head of the Department at Department of Mechanical Engineering, St.Martin’s Engineering College, Dhulapally, Secunderabad, Telangana affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad. He has more than 20 years of teaching and research experience in manufacturing, material and mechanical engineering with special emphasis in machining & tribology. He is also interest in optimization, modeling, industrial engineering and higher education for sustainability/ engineering education. He has published more than 75 papers in various reputed journals and has his research papers in many conferences. His is the author of 7 text books and has published 17 indian patents. He has received several scientific awards. He is reviewer for several international journals, is the guest editor of journals, books editor, book series editor and scientific advisory for many international journals and conferences.

 

 

 

Dr. N. Ramchandra

Professor and Head, Dept. of EEE & Dean Affiliation and Accreditation

Dr.N.Ramchandra is currently working as Professor and Head of the Department in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, St.Martin's Engineering College,Secunderabad. He also worked as Deputy Manager, Quality Systems in Navanidhi Electronics Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad. He has received Ph.D. in Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS PILANI Hyderabad campus,Hyderabad, M.Tech  inPower System specialization from KL Deemed to be University Guntur, AndhraPradesh and B.Tech in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University. He has writtena textbooktitled “Basic Electrical Engineering”, published 5 patents and more than 30 publications in various International journals and conferences. Dr Ranadheer Reddy Donthi

Dr Ranadheer Reddy Donthi is currently working in St. Martin’s Engineering College as aProfessor and Head, department S&H. He completed his M.Phil from SV University and hewas awarded with Ph.D from Kakatiya University in 2017 and completed his MBA from JNTUH. He published 20+ research papers in Scoupus journals, he published 1 patent to his credit and also participated in numerous International conferences. He taught all the Engineering Mathematics subjects. He has a stint of 17+ years of experience in various reputed colleges and universities at various academic and administrative positions. His research interests are operations research ,Queuing theory and Internet traffic. He is a BOS member and subject expert for various Autonomous colleges of Telangana. Dr B. Hari Krishna

Dr B. Hari Krishna is currently working as a Professor & Head of the Department, department of ECE in St. Martin’s Engineering College. He has completed Ph.D. from Sathyabama University, Chennai in the year 2015. He has obtained M. Tech from SRM University, Chennai in 2005 and B. Tech from JNTU University Hyderabad in 2002. He has published 42+ research papers in SCI/Scopus/UGC/International and national conference to his credit. He has a stint of 16 years ofexperience in various reputed colleges and universities at various academic and administrative positions. Dr. R. Santhoshkumar

Professor and Head, Dept. of CSE

Dr. R. Santhoshkumar is currently working as an Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering in St. Martin’s Engineering College, Dhulapally, Secunderabad for past 4 months. He obtained his B.E. (Information Technology) and M.E. (Computer Science and Engineering) degrees from Annamalai University in 2013 and 2015 respectively. Worked for Ph.D Degree on the Topic “Emotion Recognition Using Non-Verbal Communication and its Application to Autism Children” and Awarded in 8th September 2020. The thrust area of research includes Image and Video Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things. He has the credit of publishing 26 research papers in pre reviewed reputed international journals and attending 17 National and International Conferences. Besides, the academic pursuit including of training the young aspirants on Python Programming with Deep Learning concepts, in useful tools with basic software. Expertise on various E-learning platforms has enabled to assist for successful conducting of more than 30 webinars/video-meetings. Dr. N. Krishnaiah, is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Information Technology in St. Martin’s Engineering College, Dhulapally, Secunderabad. He obtained B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering Technology, Chittoor, M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from JNTUK, Kakinada and Ph.D in Computer Science & Engineering from JNTUK, Kakinada. His area of interest is Data Mining and Warehousing, Computer Networks, Machine Learning and Wireless Networks. He has received Rs.6 lakhs funds from AICTE MODROBS. He is an active membership of ISTE, CSI, IAENG, He has published 15 research papers in Scopus/UGC/International and national conference. He published 1 Book chapter and 2 patent. Dr. B. Rajalingamis currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, St. Martin’s Engineering College, Dhulapally, Kompally, Secunderabad, Telangana, India for the past 4 months. He has received his Ph.D (Full Time) degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Annamalai University in the year July, 2020. He received his M.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Annamalai University, Tamilnadu in 2012. He received his B.Tech in Information Technology from Alpha College of Engineering, Affiliated by Anna University, Chennai, Tamilnadu in 2010. He has published 30 research papers in reputed international journals, 4 Book chapters, published 1 patent and also presented 30 papers in the national and international conference proceedings. He has acted as a reviewer in more than 15 reputed peer reviewed journals. He obtained B.Tech, in Computer Science and Engineering Avanthi institute Engineering and Technology affiliated toJawaharlal Nehru Technical University Hyderabad Telangana, India, in 2011, M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from Vignan Institution of Tech & Science Affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University Hyderabad, Telangana, India, in 2013 and Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering. His area of specialization is Cloud Computing, Computer Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Internet of Things. He has overall 8+ years of experience, in that he has 7 years of teaching experience and 1+ years of IT experience as a Project Coordinator in IT&EC Department at Secretariat Government of Andhra Pradesh. He obtained B.Tech., in Information Technology from KONERU LAKSHMAIAH COLLEGEOF ENGINEERING,Vaddeswaram,Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2006,M.Tech., in Computer Science and Engineering from RVR & JC, Guntur, Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2009 and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from SRI SATYA SAI UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY & MEDICAL SCIENCES, Sehore, M.P. in 2020. His area of specialization is Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things. He has published more than 20 International Journal Publications in SCI/SCOPUS/UGC CARE. Dr. B. Chandrashekar Dr. B. Received his B.E. degree in Computer Science from Karnataka University, M.Tech. degree in Computer Science from IETE Hyderabad campus and Ph.D. in Computer Science from JJTU. Since April 2021.In 2009 he received B.E degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Maharaja Engineering College affiliated to Anna University Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In 2014, and added another feather to his cap by completing M.E in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering, Anna University, Gunidy Campus, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.  In 2020 he has successfully completed and awarded his Ph.D., in Computer Science and Engineering from Annamalai University, Annamalainagar, Chidambaram, and Tamil Nadu. M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Malla Reddy College of Engineering, Maisammaguda, Hyd. Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering in 2019 from OPJS UNIVERSITY, Churu, Rajasthan. She has 7 years of teaching experience and 2 years of research experience. And her Area of interest in Data Mining and Warehousing, Computer Networks, Machine Learning, Computer Programming and Operating Systems.She Published 2 Natiomal Conferences and 2 International IEEE Journals, 1Web of Science and 1 Patent. He has successfully completed and awarded his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, Telangana. India in 2023. He has 18+ years of teaching experience. He has published more than 30 National, International Conferences and Journals including Scopus and SCI. Dr.M Thirupathiis currently working as a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, St.Martin’s Engineering College. He received M.Tech Embedded systems from Aurora’s Technological Research Institute, Hyderabad, in 2009 and Ph.D in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He has 14 years of teaching and 4 years of research experience. Since 2019 Dr.MThirupathiwas working as Associate Professor/ECE in St.Martin’s Engineering College. He has published more than 15 international journals and conferences. He served as a speaker and resource person for various workshop and webinars in communication engineering areas. Dr SOMESHWAR SIDDI is Currently working as Associate Professor, St.Martin's Engineering College,Secunderabad. He obtained his Master of Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Rayalaseema University, Kurnool in the year 2019. He has more than 15 years of experience in teaching the subject of Engineering Mathematics, Operations Research, Probability & Statistics at Engineering colleges affiliated to JNTUH for UG and PG students..He has to his credit several research publications in international journals. He has successfully completed 16 courses from International Universities. Dr.Hemambika is currently working as Professor for the Department of Science and Humanities, St. Martin’s Engineering College, Secunderabad since 2019. Dr.Hemambika also worked as Assistant Professor in various reputed institutes like GIS,GITAM (Deemed to be University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh), Dr.LankapalliBullayya PG college, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. She has received Ph.D. from the Department of Engineering chemistry (AUCE), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 2019, M.Sc in Analytical chemistry system Specialization the Dept of Chemistry, MVR PG College affiliated to Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh in 2007. Dr. M. Dhamodhara Naidu has been working as an Associate Professor of Physics in the department of Freshmen Engineering, St. Martin’s Engineering College, Secunderabad since February 2022. He has been awarded with Ph.D. from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati in 2015 and post graduated in M.Sc Physics with Electronics & Condensed matter physics as specialization from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati in 2004. He has completed M.E (CSE) at Sathyabama University, Chennai in 2009. He has 18 years of teaching experience with engineering and science students. His research area is Solid State Spectroscopy and Photonics. He has published 6 research papers in international reputed journals and one paper is accepted for publication. He has published one text books in Applied Physics 2 books for different physics subjects. Dr. Nehru Boda

Dr. Nehru Boda has been working as an Assistant Professor of Physics in the Department of Freshmen Engineering, St. Martin’s Engineering College, Secunderabad, since 2022. He has been awarded with Ph.D. from Osmania University in 2021 and post graduated in MSc Physics from PG College of Science Saidabad, Osmania University in 2009. He got BSR fellowship under UGC. He published 16 research papers in various reputed International and National journals. He also participated and presented research papers in numerous International and National conferences/seminars/webinars. His research area is Electrical and Magnetic Properties of Co-Cd and Co-Sm nano ferrites by citrate gel auto combustion method. He taught Applied Physics for B.Tech.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Raji Thomas

Professor, Dept. of FME

Dr. Raji Thomas has been working as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Freshmen Engineering, St. Martin’s Engineering College, Secunderabad, since 2023. Dr. Raji marked her eminence in the field of novel metal complex synthesis and its theoretical study. She has publications in various international, national journals and proceedings of various international and national conferences. She published one book in the field of “antioxidant activities of Germanium Complexes” and a book chapter in the field of “synthesis and computational studies of Copper Complexes”. She received her Doctorate from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India on the title “Synthesis and properties of organometallic derivatives of binucleating ligands” and it was a part of DAE/BRNS project in collaboration with BARC and NCFRR PUNE. Dr. Raji is having immense teaching experience in the field of chemistry and Engineering Chemistry. She is acting as a reviewer for reputed International Journals and also acted as a member of Board of Studies of various colleges. She is one of the member of R&D coordinators for FME Department. Dr. Raji proposed and organized many FDPs and Workshops. She involved in the accreditation processes for the sustenance of NBA and JNTU. She is expert in techniques like Pulse radiolysis studies, Spectroscopical analysis, Metal Complex Synthesis, Molecular Modelling etc.

 

 

 

 

Dr. Aveli Rambabu

Professor Dept. of FME

Dr. Aveli Rambabu has been working as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Freshmen Engineering, St. Martin’s Engineering College, Secunderabad, since 2021. He has been awarded with Ph.D. from Osmania University in 2018 and post graduated in MSc Chemistry from Vaagdevi PG College, Kakatiya University in 2008. He qualified for Lectureship in 2010 and for JRF in 2011 in NET examination organized by Joint CSIR-UGC, and also qualified for GATE examination with AIR 1526. He published 28 research papers in reputed International journals and few more papers are under communication. He also participated and presented research papers in numerous International and National conferences/seminars/webinars. He got a best poster presentation award from Palamuru University, Telangana for presenting his research work in a national conference. Dr. Tiruveedhula Somasekhar

Dr. Tiruveedhula Somasekhar has been working as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Freshmen Engineering, St. Martin’s Engineering College, Secunderabad, since 2022. He has been awarded with Ph.D. from IICT, Hyderabad in 2018 and post graduated in MSc Chemistry from KVR, KVR & MKR college, Khajipalem, Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2011. He qualified for Lectureship in 2012 and for JRF in 2013 in NET examination organized by Joint CSIR-UGC. He published 12 research papers in reputed International journals and few more papers are under communication. He also participated and presented research papers in numerous International and National conferences/seminars/webinars. Dr.M.Nirmala Devi

Dr.M.Nirmala Deviis currently working as Associate Professor of English in the Department of Freshmen Engineering, St.Martin’s Engineering College, Secunderabad. Previously worked as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of English in reputed institution and Universities like KL University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and Lovely Professional University, Punjab. With 12 plus years of rich experience in Teaching, Research and Administration. She has held several teaching positions and administrative positions during her career. She has been the Programme Officer and Course Co-ordinator of various subjects. She has been Ph.D supervisor for Lovely Professional University, Punjab. She has published 25 papers in International and Scopus Journals and 7 patents and book published. She has also presented 17 papers in National and International conferences. She has chaired a session on International Conference at Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Maharashtra. She attended various Workshops, Seminars and Faculty Development Programmes. She has organized so many Ph.D panel discussions on various topics of Literature and Linguistics. She also supervised several dissertation and other projects of the scholars for the award of degrees and has headed and acted as members of various Academic, Professional and Research bodies of reputed Universities. Her research work interests lead to Feminism, Translation of Literature, and Study of Indian Culture and is open to innovative and progressive research thinking. She has received different prizes and certificates on different fields for her remarkable achievements.

 

 

 

Dr.Saumyaprava Acharya

Dr.Saumyaprava Acharya , is currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of science& Humanities in St. Martin’s Engineering College, Dhulapally, Secunderabad since 20thApril 2022. She has obtained her PhD degree from S’O’A Deemed to be university, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She has published 11research papers in high impact factored International Journals and also she has published 2 Indian patents. She has been awarded many times with best poster presentation award in different conferences. Her research area is Photocatalytic applications of different perovskite towards energy evolution and environmental abatement. Dr. A. Greeni

Dr. A. GREENI currently working as an Assistant. Professor of English in St.Martin’s Engineering College, Secunderabad. She obtained her Master of Arts from St.Joseph’s college, Trichy, Tamilnadu. She holds her Ph.D from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Tamilnadu in the year 2020. She has more than 14+ years of experience in teaching English in Engineering Colleges as well as Arts and Science Degree colleges. She also had a six months experience of teaching English abroad in DMI St. John’s The Baptist University at Malawi, East Africa. She has a remarkable credit of research publications in national, international journals, such as UGC Care list, Scopus journals, Patents and Book chapters. She has delivered 4 Guest Lecturers in various colleges through virtual mode. Besides being an effective teacher herself, she has been contributing to that the clubs as an in charge for Eco, hope, NSS and Youth Red Cross. She got a membership in ELSTA. She delivered 2 National & International FDPS as a Guest Lecturer which were organized by ELSTA. She organized FDPs, Guest Lecturers and workshops too. She also had an experience of 6 months as a Vice -Principal in East Africa. At present, she is also assigned the responsibility as R and D of Freshmen Engineering at SMEC.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr G. Sundararajan

Dr. G. Sundararajan has been teaching Inorganic chemistry,organic chemistry to P.G. students for the last 08 years. His main research interest is synthesis and characterization of bioactive organic molecules. He has 10 years of Research experience in synthetic organic chemistry & Material Science and published 18 Research papers in reputed National and International journals with good impact factors. He has also presented more than 15 conference presentations at various academic and research organizations. Till now he guided 10 M.Phil.scholars. At present, he supervised for 03 Ph.D. research scholars and 1 M.Phil scholars are working under his guidance. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Freshmen Engineering, St. Martin’s Engineering College, Secunderabad since 2024. He is also worked as an Assistant Professor in various reputed institutes like Thanthai Hans Roever College (Autonomous) Affiliated to be Bharathidasan University, Trichy, Tamilnadu, Christ College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry and Shivani Engineering CollegeTiruchirappalli. He has received Ph.D. in Department of chemistry in Annamalai University Chidambaram, Tamilnadu in 2016.

Her Research interests are Material Science, Nano Materials and Semiconducting Thin film. She has a 14+ years of experience in various reputed colleges and universities at various academic and administrative positions.  She had published papers in reputed Journals and 1 patent. She has a Reviewer of International Journal of Energy Research.  She has attended the FDP, National, International Conference, Workshop and seminars. Dr Rama Krishna Hanuman Gorthi Dr Rama Krishna Hanuman Gorthi is currently working as Assistant Professor, St. Martin’s Engineering College, Secunderabad. He obtained his Master of Science from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He obtained his Ph. D from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in the year 2013.He has 1 year experience in teaching Engineering chemistry and Environmental Science. He had18 years of experience in the fields of reserve battery development, Environment and Safety. He has 1 research publication in international journal. Dr. D Sunil

Dr. D Sunil is an Associate Professor of English working in the Department of Freshmen Engineering since 2nd January, 2023. He earned his Ph.D in English from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad in 2019. He completed his M.A. English from EFLU, Hyderabad in 2013.  He has published 8 papers in various reputed journals, and presented papers in 13 International conferences. Dr. Ravinder Gandasirihas been working as an AssistantProfessor of Physicsin the Department of Freshmen Engineering, St. Martin’s Engineering College,Secunderabad, since Jan-2024. He has been awarded withPh.D. from Kakatiya University in 2021 and post graduatedinMSc Physicsfrom University College, Kakatiya University in 2014. He qualified for Lectureship in June-2022 in NET examination organized by Joint CSIR-UGC, and qualified for GATE-2021 examination in the subject of Physics, and also qualified SET in 2018 organized by Telanagna state. He published 11 research papers in reputedInternational/National journalsand few more papers are under communication.He also participated and presented researchpapers in numerous International and National conferences/seminars/webinars.His research interests are Fabrication of thin films and synthesis of Nanoparticles especially on Optoelectronic and Solar cell applications.
